Who We Are

HD&Me is operated by KTB, LLC, a Rhode Island limited liability company. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “HD&Me,” it refers to that entity. When we say “you,” we mean any visitor to hdandme.com or anyone who buys a report or books a reading from us.

What Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically when you visit, and information from third parties.

Information you give us

When you generate a Human Design chart on hdandme.com, you provide your birth date, birth time, and city of birth. We use that data to calculate the chart and display it back to you. We do not store your raw birth data on our servers beyond the session needed to generate the chart, except where you create an account or buy a product that requires the chart to be re-rendered later.

When you buy a Personalized Report or book a reading, you provide your name, email address, billing address, and the birth data needed to produce the chart. Payment information such as your card number, expiration, and security code is handled directly by Stripe and never reaches our servers.

When you subscribe to our email list, you provide your email address and, if you choose, your first name. When you contact us through the site, you provide your name, email, and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit hdandme.com, we collect technical information about your visit, including IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent, referring URLs, and similar log data. We use Google Analytics to collect aggregate site usage statistics, and Cloudflare for security and content delivery, which logs request data for those purposes.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function. Others enable analytics and, in the future, advertising attribution. You can manage your cookie preferences through the consent banner that loads on your first visit.

Information from third parties

If you arrive at hdandme.com via a Substack subscription, an email link, or a paid ad, we may receive referral data from those services indicating where you came from. We do not buy contact lists or receive personal data from data brokers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide the services you request, including chart generation, report delivery, and reading scheduling. We use it to process payments through Stripe. We use it to send the emails you have subscribed to. We use it to respond to questions you send us. We use aggregate analytics to improve hdandme.com. We use it to maintain security and prevent fraud. We use it to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their independent marketing.

Third Parties That Process Your Data

The third parties listed below process personal information on our behalf. Each has its own privacy practices and we have data processing agreements in place where applicable.

Stripe handles all payment processing. Card data is sent directly from your browser to Stripe and we do not store full card numbers. Stripe’s privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

Klaviyo handles our email list and email automation. Email addresses, names, and engagement data live in Klaviyo. Klaviyo’s privacy policy is at klaviyo.com/legal/privacy.

GoHighLevel holds our customer database. Customer records from purchases and email subscriptions are stored there. GoHighLevel’s privacy policy is at gohighlevel.com/privacy-policy.

Google Analytics provides aggregate site usage statistics. Google’s privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Substack holds your email address and engagement data when you subscribe to our newsletter on Substack. Substack’s privacy policy is at substack.com/privacy.

Cloudflare provides security, DDoS protection, and content delivery for hdandme.com. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep customer records, including purchase and billing information, for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet tax and accounting obligations, which is typically seven years from the date of last transaction.

We keep email subscriber information for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a suppression list so we can honor your unsubscribe.

We keep contact form messages for up to two years.

We keep aggregate analytics indefinitely. That data does not identify individual users.

Your Rights

You have rights regarding your personal information. The specific rights depend on where you live.

If you live in the EU, UK, or EEA

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate or incomplete data, request deletion (the right to be forgotten), restrict processing, object to processing including direct marketing, receive your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis we rely on.

The legal bases on which we process your data are performance of a contract (when you buy a product), consent (when you subscribe to email), and legitimate interests (analytics and security, where those interests are not overridden by your rights).

If you live in California

Under the CCPA and CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, request deletion of your personal information, correct inaccurate personal information, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

If you live in another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other states with comparable privacy laws have substantially similar rights to those listed above. You may exercise them by contacting us using the email below.

How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days for GDPR requests and within 45 days for CCPA requests. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled. Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site and you can opt out through the consent banner. Marketing cookies for advertising attribution are not currently deployed and will be subject to consent when activated.

Children

hdandme.com is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access hdandme.com from outside the U.S., your data is transferred to and processed in the U.S. The U.S. has different data protection laws than the EU, UK, and certain other regions. Where required, we and our processors use Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms to safeguard those transfers.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and any required authorities as the law requires.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes we will give notice through the site or by email where appropriate.
